Antarctica?
I used to do forestry projects up on the mogollon rim in AZ, its the same plateau that extends over into NM. It also ranged between 5-7k ft elevation and -10 to -30 at night. It is a dry cold and is much easier to take than humid cold but I dont care what they say, when it was minus 10 it was cold!

Mark,
You guys haven't seen anything as what we had here, last year.
36" in one snowfall.
Granted, it's nothing like the great white north, but it was impressive.
BTW, that's a sequoia under there, and since this isn't a thread about dodges, I guess you'll have to look at it in the OTHER category.

I have an 8 horse 2 stage beast that was having a difficult time... The snow was deeper than the top of the unit. Took forever, but it worked.
Yes..... I do have a home-grown smokestack on the SB, as I'm not a fan of exhaust smoke from 2 cycle engines in my face...

I have a big two stager with plug in electric start. It has a lot of weld metal on it! Working great finally. I would rather spend 6 hours fixing and then 2 hours blowing snow than just doing it by hand in 8 hours!!!

This is my beast. When then engine goes someday it will get a Yanmar or Kubota! I need to get an LED buld for it because incandescent ones last about an hour!
