Recently my odometer quit working again. I had this problem 1500 miles ago with the small, 26-tooth gear failing. After replacing that gear from the friendly folks @ Southern Electronics, I was back on the road, till now. With the dash all tore apart again,(I'm getting good @ that), I found my next problem in pieces. now I'm back to square 1 again. Recently took some pictures of the broken gear & looking for a replacement. My ? is, how many problem have any of u all been having with gears failing in the speedometer? From what I have read this is common. Also, what years have the same speedo gear drive in them? Mine is a 90' D-250. Any thought, please let me know. Thanks again.
