Another firewall/floor question/confirmation
I am possibly going to bye a mid 70s crew cab shell to restore and then change out with my current crew cab shell. I will need to replace the firewall and front half of the floor to match my current set up.
In my research I have found that I can use any cab from 80-93, 4x4 and/or manual, gas or diesel. The only one I cant use is a 2wd auto. Is this correct?
Thanks
Dustin

If you are using the factory hydraulic clutch setup, you will need to use a firewall from a 1988 or newer truck, or modify an older one as far as bulkhead connector and clutch master cylinder location.

Move the bulk head over about a 1/2 an inch to o the drivers side. Then if it is a manual, you need to drill out the hydro bracket hole in the firewall. Then you will need to drill out the four bolts holes, that hold the hydro bracket on to the steering shaft support under the firewall.
