Another 1st gen, and a pic request

I spotted a local 1st gen sitting the other day with Indiana plates....The guy just moved here and brought it with him.... So i told my Dad about it and we dropped a letter in the mailbox and on monday he called and said he'd be willing to sell it because he does not have time to fix the front end. So he did give us $400 worth of new front susp. parts to fix it....He bought everything, even new coils!!

It's a Rust free 92 D250 5spd 190k miles (works too).... Super LE (every option, you name it). 3.54 LS rear (yes, finally a truck with a LS!) . It drives VERY VERY well for as wacked out the front end is......Pulls MUCH MUCH harder than "Stock" even with the 21cm housing so I'm thinking it may have a smoky' pin in it or the guys at the dealer set the pump up hot when it was replaced under the "recall" in 1992, rolls a little coal too. Definely pulls too hard to be stock

Oh and after driving the squeeky rattly stripped down 93, this truck has NO rattles, no squeeks and is tight as can be! don't have to lift up on the door to close it either...........OH and i can't believe Dodge got away with these straight shifter sticks, the 93 has the factory bent stick in it and that's what we're used to, this straight stick in the 92 is crazy! 5th gear and you're in the glovebox almost!

If anyone has any pics of a Clean truck done up with this 2-tone, Please post up. We're thinking about doing a quickie repaint on this one in same colors and some decent wheels and make it the new beater and sell the 93 as it's getting a little "Old", The 90 only needs a clutch to run but it's going to need alot of brake work as well since it sat for 8 years, and the 91, Well unfortunely is still in 10000 pieces so this is closest to being the new beater (It's gonna be nice to have Cruise on long trips too....)

Here's some pics, The 2nd pic has my Dad and the guy doing the deal
Oh and that's only a cover on the seat...under it lies the perfect LE seat I'm guessing

My Dads truck tugging it

lol that kind of sounds like my mother. only the dodge trans puked and now I drive the fummins in my sig. Now it's more like "Get rid of that thing I don't want it in the yard"

Nice buy brandon. I am pretty curious about the buying price too! Everything up here, as usual, is in worse shape mechanically, and is all rusted out, and still sells for more than what you guys buy trucks for. Even when you pay what it's worth down there!

It has rust bubbles across the front edge which sucks but were gonna fix it up. Its not through though...maybe 5 or 6 good blisters in paint

Dar, the 1st number is a 2 and its 4 digits, sleep good tonight?

Brandon:

Although it has been discontinued, your local Dodge dealer might be able to locate you some OEM pinstriping. My truck was originally solid tan and when I went to two-tone. My local dealer found some OEM pinstripe kits sitting on a Mopar warehouse shelf somewhere in Wisconsin that they were able to ship to me.

Post #18 in this old thread contains some part numbers to investigate:

Good luck with your project.
