All bombed out.

I think that I have all that a drill , hacksaw and screw driver can give from my '92. I ran the star wheel down until it stopped, cranked the fuel screw in until I had a hard time getting the idle down, drilled three 5 inch holes in the air box, 4 inch exhaust that beats like a bass drum, bully dog pin, bumped the timing up 3/16 from where it was and installed a 3200 rpm spring. EGT's are approaching criticality and there is a tell tale haze not unlike an F4 Phanthom's exhaust when I crunch the fun pedal. I really don't have the money right now but I am looking for a turbo upgrade. I do work this truck and am afraid a HX35 12cm would be a little much for the towing that I do. I am thinking maybe a 16cm or a 14cm to replace the 21cm. BHAF is coming when the current filter needs replacing.

Hey Boatnik, I am running the same set-up as you, with the exception of the stack's and the htbg turbo. I am real happy with the turbo weather towing or hunting or running around.it is a good all around turbo.well, until I get the twins built.

Cool! I'm waiting for some extra money to come in which won't be until next summer. I want to do my next mod in a "package". In other words, try to have all the pieces parts in the garage before I start mess'n. A good set of injectors and a new wind jammer. At what point should I start to get concerned about blown head gaskets? I really hate having to do things over.

Actually it was a SawAll. Used it to trim the 4 inch pipe.

Whatta ya mean "no pipe". You don't sound like the kinda guy that would turn the elbow up and punch a hole in his hood. Come to think of it, I kinda like that idea

It's not slow though

It looks like a month of overtime.....CHA--CHING!, BUTTA-BING! LEts see new injectors and turbo comming up. Sure hope the torque converter and tranny hold up till after Xmas.
