Aftermarket A518 Converter

Ok so I've figured out the problem with the OD not engaging all the time on my truck going to pick up parts to install a POT tomorrow Now questions arise for a good converter and shift kit. I'll go with a simple Trans-Go shift kit and a double deep pan but mostly looking for a converter to stick in the 518 that'll be a lower stall that'll be better then the turd that they stuck in in Detroit in 92 I've read a few folks going with a Hughes but searched and didn't find a lot specific for best all around converter. Seen the Hughes Tow Master on their website but doesn't tell much about it. How about some opinions on companies, performance and actual "gains" from a low stall tighter converter. Thanks
