what holds the lever in?

 

The pin that it pivots on. and the steel ***** hold the lever on the IC'd pumps and just two simple screws on the non IC'd trucks

 

man you really need to disasembly the pump to see,

I had no clue about these 1st gen pumps till i opened one up...
i could also have removed the afc lever,

But wouldnt it be the same as taking out the fuel pin? or does the afc lever hit the part where the needle goes to the fuel pin?

also where do you grind the afc lever, (if you dont take it out)
