Hi all with the new tranny I'm defueling sooner err more often than befor [seems the skinny pedal is easier to push down So wish to adjust things I've heard you can get 200 to 300 more rpm befor defueling. I inquired about the 3k spring BUT was told that the pump can leak at the thottle shaft after the install something about wear in the thottle shaft bushing and just disturbing it during install [Mark Wilson -Piers] .To repair it's $165 to re and re the pump plus install labour. So that risk plus the cost of the spring install leads me to all the FREE AND EASY ON THE PUMP MODS we can find tks Eric

Go ahead and put in the 3200 RPM spring and you won't be sorry. It is great. As far as the throttle shaft leaks, put on a new o'ring at the same time and you will be fine. How can you distrurbe something that turns all the time? It is not like it is a stationary part that never moves. It will leak sometimes but that is due to a hardened o'ring. This engine was designed to run at higher RPMs and only limited by Dodge to try and go easier on the drivetrain. If you want your truck to come alive then spring it!
