Adding a section to the sticky - need help
Hey guys-
I think the sticky needs an "Engine Swap" section. There has been a lot of interest lately in Ramcharger, Crew Cab, and just plain gasser swaps. I'd also be interested in swaps of 1st gen engines into non-Dodge vehicles. If you know of good "How I Did It" threads/blogs/pages please post links in this thread.
Thanks.

Good idea. I've also been thinking of suggesting that a sticky be made w/ all the flywheel housing/bellhousing/trans/clutch hydraulic combos also, it seems those questions come up a lot too.
Im, a little new here to DTR, but i have done three cummins swaps, including a first gen. into a 75 power wagon, first gen. into an 85 chevy silverado, and a second gen. 12v into a 98 dodge originally equipted with a v10, and i would be happy to give any info i can
If I knew how to work the computer and photo posting better I would do a write up on my swap.
Here is a gallery on FTE that was a big help to me

I hope they don't mind me braging them up here. Both were a HUGE help in my swap. I used a lot of their ideas, and came up with a few of my own.

Here's my blog for my crewcab getting the '93 ctd/nv4500. I'm not very far along, but I am hoping to include a lot of good info.
Soon I will be adding a ramcharger/'92 ctd/auto swap.

I would love for someone else to do all the hard work and figure out how I can fit a 4BT/4L60E combo into my Blazer. Just for better mpg's and the fun of it having a cummins, I'd leave the power nice and low for highway cruising and light towing.
