Question Add-On Overdrives

I saw this on eBay and wondered if it would bolt to the back of an NP-205? Does anyone recognize it?

Thank you for any help

Jim

I might need my eyes checked but that thing looks like the factory overdrive unit off an automatic trans and a gas one at that.

No that will not work ... has to have fluid pressure to apply/ cool/lubracate the overdrive unit..

Afraid of That

Thanks, Riesenbr549. I was afraid of that.
I'll keep searching for an overdrive.

Thumbs up Gear Vendor

Thanks for the information, coupdetat. I thought an overdrive would improve mileage. I don't expect 26 mpg with 4.88 diffs, maybe closer to 20 from the 13 I'm getting now. What is the ratio of your gearvendor and the ratio of your diff?
I liked the looks of them on the web site; the price scared me off.
I can't justify getting real money into the old International. Too much rust in the cab and the rain runs through in too many places, but if I can find a used Hone-O-Drive somewhere...
