Soon I brought her up to about 15psi and she seemed eager for more. I'm thinking about at least 6 full heat cycles and then check the head bolts. If it hold together that long, I'm gonna roast JR's old recaps untill they explode and take the rest of the dually fender with them

Oh, and on the smoke topic, these weenie I/C injectors don't throw the coal like my 9mm sticks did I don't wanna crank the pump against those things, either. It's a 300 dollar e-bay pump MFG in 1987 and I don't wanna puch my luck...

There's nothing wrong with those sticks! It's that undersized pump you got on there! I was close to 300 hp with those!

Now Pete, I never said there was anything WRONG with the sticks in my post, did I? They're physically smaller than the ones I had before, that's all. Pure math, nothing personal Thank you, by the by, for letting me borrow them--my truck wouldn't be running without them

He said something about the drone in the cab with the 6" in the bed. I think he's going to try the same stack out the hood thinking it might be quieter .

Sorry, no stack. Not in the budget. I did however manage to forget to install my muffler Still haven't pushed the truck too hard yet. Can't get traction anyway with all this rain. The idle is quite smooth--no mirror shake at 500rpms. I have absolutely no complaints with how she runs. Starting is a whole other ballgame. A higher idle will help, but the +.020 HG drops the compression on an admittedly already tired engine enough that she was pretty moody this morning. Now I see why pulling tractors lope and skip and puff and carry on when they're cold. Anyhoo, I'm uploading a vid...should be a couple more minutes.

Hehe, she's a 5-wheeler. I had the other one off to patch a leak and didn't bother to put it back on.
