93'Shorty a question for you

I have a couple questions if you don't mind. I see you are running 1/2 ton springs, were they out of a 93? Do you remember how many leafs are in the pack, and are the leafs thinner than the 3/4 ton ones? Also did you have any trouble changing them like were the bolts the same size?
Thanks
Dave

Howdy Dave, your questions are no prob at all, however I'm just out the door for a weekend sledding trip . I can answer a couple questions off the top of my head though. I purchased the truck with the lift already installed, but I believe they are 91 skyjacker six inch units. My buddy drives a '92 ram 250 CTD and i can tell you my leaves are definetely thinner and theres less of them. The difference in ride is quite apparent. The only negative to my half ton springs I can think of is my front end is slightly mushy on highway corners. However when your running any type of lift over four inches it's a good idea to run dual shocks in front for added stability. Hang tight until monday and I will give you a count of my leaves and post a pic. for you.

Cheers,
Mad Mikey.
