Club-cab short-shorty ctd 1st gen.

Fabbed-up a new roof. The old RC roof was pretty rusty, and, with the Cummins 6bt, the hollow shell was pretty noisy. So far I have been driving most of the winter with no side glass or upper or lower tailgates, because the little bit of cold is more comfortable than the reverberating sound. So, I decided this thing was going to get an interior, but it first needs to be water tight. So, I had this extra cab laying around...

I still need to build the front wall for the bed. I grafted the bolt flanges from the old top, so it will still be removable for the summer. There is still 4.5 feet of the bed left. Not a lot, but it will get camp wood to the camp site and a cooler to the picknic.

Here it is with the old top.

I think I grabbed this off of the RCC board, thought it was a cool idea.

Man it is tough to get an original idea these days. I thought I was the first. One difference though is that my roof still comes off.

I'm all about a good laugh. If this one was mine, I'd have to put some Bronco emblems on it, just to mess with the Ford guys.

I like what you're doing with yours.

Thanks for the props.

How about some front fender emblems with "power Bronco 350 Cummins Turbo Diesel?"

I have the front panel out of a pick-up bed. I have to notch it a little for the fender wells. I am debating right now on welding it in perminately or burning on some flanges and bolting it in.

Believe me, I have been thinking about a stack. Are you thinking about your old side pipe? Heheheheheheheeeee

I never said it was bad. I guess I was thinking that if I never get married I will have so many cool toys.

This isn't necessarily true. You just need to find a woman that likes similar things. If you can find one that makes a boat load of money to pay for the toys it's a bonus .
