93 having problems
Ok i just bought a 93 250 2wd auto. its running bad. it will start and run but it runs bad and blows a little blue smoke also a lose of power when driven. i have talked to a few friends and one said that it could be a leaking injector. it just had a valve job done on it and was runing ok before that was done. also had the injector pump worked on about a year ago. any input would be great would like to fix it on with out taking it to the shop.
Thanks,
Eric

When was the last time you changed the fuel filter? Do you have a Fuel pressure gauge? Fuel PSI? Did it run worse immeadiatly after the valve job? Are you sue the valves are set correctly?
With it idling, crack 1 injector line at a time. If you find one that dosen't make it run worse when cracked you need to look at that injector and associated parts. Lets get some more details.

i'm sorry about the details but i am picking it up in the morning and don't know everything about it and haven't looked into anything yet. i will find out more tomorrow. i will look into the injector lines like you said.
also what is a cheap and fast way to get a little extra HP out of it once i fix it. i have heard something about fuel pin or screw but have no idea what or how to do it.
First thing to do is change the fuel filter unless you just did it a couple weeks ago. Then look over the whole fuel system from the tank to the engine very carefully, look for any wet spots and fix them. If you can't find any, plumb a piece of clear hose between the fuel supply line and the lift pump and run the engine. If you see bubbles in the fuel, air is being sucked in somewhere.

Well,
i talked to Zack Hamilton today and bad news. The injector pump is out, now with what i said about the air do yall think that it could just need the gasket rebuild kit? or do i need to buy a new pump.
