93 D250

I found a 93 D250 w/169k in excellent shape for 12,600. I KBB/Nada it and averaged around 7500. What do you guys think would be a good offer?

Thanks 03HO

$12,600???? Anything special about it? Way too much IMO. And a 2 wheel drive at that. 5 to 6k, maybe 7k if its really a gem, but ultimately its up to you.

It is a 4x4. From the pics it is top-notch condition. the seller says he has gone over it top to bottom. But after all is said and done it's still a 13 yr old truck with 169k...so I thouhgt 12,600 was alittle steep. I was thinking 7,500.

$12,600!!!??? I gave $4,000 for the 93 D250 in my gallery. It was a one owner, from an old man, who kept it in the garage and it never had a trailer hitch on it. Only 127,000 miles on it too. Had new tires all the way around, the paint looks like new, air blows ice cold, and everything works right down to the power mirrors.

Around here that'd be good for $8,000 easy...

Clean and with 4x4 come at premiums, and low miles to boot;;; I can see $10,000...

Well he said D250 so I assumed he meant 4X2. I noticed he said 4X4 later, so that is not quiet as bad a price, still way to high in my opinion. I did get a deal on that 93' though. My 92' W350 wasn't a real bad buy either, It was a one owner too, but it had 250k on it. It's not anywhere in the condition of my 93', but a W350 extended cab 5-speed dually for $3,000 isn't too bad? Both trucks are in my gallery by the way.

$12,600? Dollars? No way .

Keep looking. My trick is to look in the gas truck section - some idiots list their trucks wrong. I would give about $6000 for one that was nearly pristine - that's it.

I paid 6500 for mine 4 months ago. Its not perfect but its what i wanted and was close to home. That sometimes is worth something. The Price is way too high. For a really nice truck I would say 7-8k. If you wait and are ready to jump I'm sure better deals will come along.
