my 92 dodge has heater grid problems,,,,,,when i first start it COLD,the grid heater willl not go on,the dashindicator light does not illuminate.when i finally get it started,and let it run for maybe a mile or two,then,shut it off and restart it,the pre heat WILL work,,,,,,at times,i hear a clicking sound,coming from the little square modle or box,attached to the drivers side fender well(its located right behind the battery,,it sounds almost like a dead battery,,, it sounds like the solonoid kicking in and out when a battery is dead,,, can anybody help?,

 

I wouldn't worry too much. Mine are disconnected simple because it starts fine without, and I don't like the draw on my electrical system.

When I re-add them, it will be on a manual pushbutton.
