Dave Goerend is the man you want to talk to.

It would probably be better to give heim a call, but the website shows a couple things for the A518. He'll set you up.

Dave Goerend for the win.

375$ will get you a shiftkit and maybe a stock rebuild kit if you do the work yourself. Thats kinda a low budget for a tranny

to get a lockup you need a tranny and starter/adapter plate out of a 94-95 second Generation cummins truck and those are pretty weak trannies unless you build them up.

I'm going with Suncoast parts for my transmission. The torque convertor is due anyday now.

I'm fairly positive he meant he planned on being around 375rwhp. I'm sure he knows tranny work will be more than $375.

for you a lock up trans you will need to swap in a 47rh. A few have done it, not too much work but a little more money. If i decide to keep the auto in my truck this is the route i am going.

DTT! that is what I did. The customer support was great and the end product was well worth the money.

Not true, the A518 can be converted to lockup with a few parts. Of course you need a new adapter, starter and a lockup converter. To change the trans over you need a lockup input shaft, a lockup reaction support or whole front pump and a valve body to control the mess.
