84 Gear Ratio

Hi All
Does anyone know what gear ratios were available in 1984 in a 1 ton with a cummins?

We put one in a old ambulance and are trying to match the rear gear ratio.

If it has overdrive, put 3.55 in it. If it doesn't have overdrive, put 3.07 in it

The engine is actually in a old Ford Ambulance that we use as a parts vehicle now. It also hauls a Modified race car in a 26' enclosed trailer. So based on what you all have said I am leaning toward the 4.10 but will have to figure out what the RPM will be at 65 with at 1 to 1 final on the trans?

well what size tire are you going to run ? give me that and I can give you a better idea of RPM . example is 410's with 1-1 ratio with 37 in tall tires rpm's at 65 are roughly 1800
