727 to 47RH swap question
I just recently bought a clean old 89 2wd with only 90K miles on it from an old man for $1200 so I thought it would be a good truck to keep around awhile. The 727 governor had came apart and busted the tailhousing so the old guy parked the truck. I just changed it over to a 47RH and now need a driveshaft. My 47RH has 30 spline output shaft. Do I need to use a 727 slip yoke with 1410 u-joint or will the 1350 joint hold up? I think that I am going to go with a one piece driveshaft. Also, where is the best place to buy the slip yokes? Any advise will help. Thanks...

I haven't dealt with them thru the internet (35 minutes from my house) but they've built a few driveshafts for me and sold me a few parts and always do nice work at a fair price.
I also know lots of others who use them.
