6" Skyjacker lift drivers front major sag????

Well I just finished my truck last Wednesday and have been driving it for only 3 days and holy **** is it sagging like crazy on the drivers front. Has anyone had the same issue and how did you end up resolving it?

I installed a 6 inch "Diesel Rated" Skyjacker lift on my 93.

Here is how it sits now

Drivers's Side with the suspension unloaeded. There is 1/2" space between tire and driveway. Notice the gap between the top leaft and the second one. Compare that to the photo below of the passenger side. All of the leafs are contacting eachother. I think the mainleaf has a quality issue and lost it's arch.

The truck has only traveled 45kms since installed and no offroad at all.

I would send a copy of that pic to wherever you bought them and ask for another set along with a prepaid UPS return label.

Please keep us posted on what happens. I am wanting to install a set of SJ 2.5" front springs on my dually to have it sit level again. Sorry to hear about this. Nothing is more irritating to spend hard earned money for something and it backfiring like this.

That is the worst case of drivers lean I've seen on these trucks, especially with new springs. Definitely keep us updated.

Will do, I will call on Monday and see where it goes. I am so ****** off!!! This is a first for me too, I have installed lifts on many different types of vehicles and suspension systems and this is by far the worst I have seen.

Are there "Left" and "Right" marked leaves? We all know that the Driver leaf pack needs to be beefier... Maybe you should try swapping packs?

PS where is your front Drive Shaft?

Both front springs had the same part numbers on them. There was no indication that there was a left and right set.

Haven't installed the driveshaft yet, its on the to do list.

Good luck, They are such A holes at Skyjacker sometimes. Ive had similar problems.. They say cause the battery is on that side and the driver it sags. But the truth is, there first gen springs arent that great. To bad they are really the only ones that have lift springs.. Just be ready to do some complaining.

lmao that was great... You know springs these days just suck, when I bought the springs for my valiant there was about 18 inches of the main leaves that were unsupported by the next spring towards the back. The company I bought them from said they were made to chrysler specs... My backside chrysler specs the crappy 6 cylinder springs were better. Oh well. good luck let us know!
