6 blade or 8 blade turbo

Super 40's got a 7 blade wheel.
I got this turbo from the classifieds a while back. Its a hx35/super 40 hybrid w/14cm wastegated housing. Not sure where the guy got it, but I've never seen one advertised on any websites. Anybody else have one? I can't find any info on it at all. He said it took some machining to do it. Oh and as far as whistle, this thing is LOUD!
Even with the stock airbox this thing is loud. When tuning the pump I had intake off with a board ready in case of runaway. Did same thing with a friends truck, his has a gds 60mm on it. Not sure if his is 6 or 8 blade, but this 7 blade wheel was louder than his with the intakes off.
