THe hx40 has a 4" outlet into the exhaust system while the HX35 has a 3". I think that is the restriction Don is talking about.

Then again, I think Jeremy had a HX-40 with an adapter plate mounted so he could use his exhaust brake. Essentially, he was running an HX-40 with only a 3" outlet. Jeremy, please correct me if I heard incorrectly on this!

NO, the 16 on the 35 and the 40 are different in flow rates. The wheel size of the 40 gives it the extra flow of gas VS the 35 and the 16 for the 35 is also smaller and has a higher restriction.

The 35 drives much nicer IMO though.

The injectors were pretty large prototypes. There is more power to be found too

So what about the "Rumered WEAKNESS" of the Shaft on the 40? I love my PDR 35 but I can hit over 1350 WAY TO EASY when I'm pulling my trailer It run's a little cooler when I run the 18 housing though.. and I get more Top end with the bigger housing..But if I could get to 400 with a 40.. that would SURE BE FUN!!

Thumbs up DRUGS

To all that say you are not impressed because I got 520 on drugs. Who cares I still walked away with the plack. I am not trying to be sarcastic, but it seems like no one wants to give me any credit. Except for a few of you and thank you very much. Next time it will be a different story. There is alot of things in the works for the old girl.

If I took my propane kit off along with the water/meth and put it in the Pay it forward forum I am sure allot of you would want to try it out and then put it on the dyno and say look how much Horse Power I have now. HA Ha Ha.

Don’t knock it till you try it.

Old Smokey I want to personally congratulate him he has a real nice set up. I am sure he will knock me off my pedestal.

And to all that wanted to know yes I have an HX40 necked down to 3" to fit my pac brake. I am sure that will change soon I will need the room if you know what I mean!!!!!!!!!

I don't care if you used raw sewage injection, it's what goes to wheels that count. CONGRATS on hitting 500.

I found the turbo's this morning and all I need to do is say the word and the word is NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a few people on my list to make this project happen. Any one else want to jump on is fine by me.

Hey Stomp, now that your going for 600, you're going to need bigger injectors. I'll go ahead and throw your old ones away for you after I confirm there is no hazardous residue left on them (I work in a lab). I know how tough those screwy CA regs are on that stuff so I'm glad to help out.

Just send them to me at this address"

When you get a chance, how about adding some pictures. Couple under the hood, in the cab, etc.
Thanks,

Talking Carl

You know I think I will see how far I can take these injectors before I try some new ones. Thanks for the offer if I do change them out I will let you know.

I am in the process of getting some more pics of my Junk Yard Dog pickup, and should have them up in the next couple of days. Also when I start my BUST project I will try to take pictures of the extra parts going under the hood.

If you didnt know what BUST stands for its:
(Blow Up Stomps Truck.)
