hey guys i got a 1993 ctd parts truck and was gonna use the radiator support so i can have a normal grill, but the 2nd gen intercooler i have has a small leak and wont fit uner the grill of a 93, will the stock 1st gen intercooler work on my 500rwhp 2nd gen motor??? will things get too hot, or should i be okay?? thanks

well if your 93 grill is like a 92 which I think it is and you have the newer core support.. The 2nd gen intercooler will work... PLug the outlet inlet/outlet tubes and put the intercooler in a kids pool or something to find the leak.. I don't think it will be hard to find a pool out there!! I have pics up the wazoo if you want them for a clean 2nd gen intercooler install.. Minor grill trimming... fit like a glove, like the factory did it!! I wouldn't waste your time with the stock intercooler if your gonna try making big power

My intercooler is still alive at 50-60psi and 500hp. Im not gonna replace it untill i blow it apart, then ill put a 2nd gen cooler in.
