48RE in 93 D-350

What I want to do is replace my 1st gen 518 trans with a 48RE. Now here is the problem with that. I need a stand alone trans computer to run it and so far I can't find anyone who even thinks about making one so if anyone else has done this please let me know what I need and how to do it.

I know it can be done I met a guy this weekend that had one in his firstgen. He said it had a stand alone controller but I did not ask any details.

I know they make controller's for the 47RE why don't they for the 48

Tcs and Ats both make them have installed both work very nice !

There is a guy I was talking to that build stand alone systems for cummins transplants in fords. I have his numbe PM me if you want to try talking to him.
