I really dont think that it's worth getting over the 3200 spring, but now you have the option to choose. The only reason I did was because I wanted to be different and nobody had one at the time. The spring is the same length as the stocker, but is alot thicker...there is no modification needed to make it fit. Enjoy guys and if someone actually hits 4000rpm with a VE, let me know!!

Thanks alot Cody, I appreciate it. I will have one soon enough and give it a shot, there's dyno day in St.Louis coming up so we'll see if it will fuel that high . That or I'll see how high this clipped to stock length 3800rpm (374) spring fuels to. PM address for payment . Keep up the great work.

Hey bgilbert, if you find where to get a 4200 spring will you order me one and I will pay for it and shipping, or you could tell me where I can get one and then I'll order it.
Thanks

Call Scheids Diesel in Terre Haute or any Bosch authorized dealer. Give them the part number, they ship. I've walked in there before and gave them 3 different 'experimental' or 'shot in the dark' Bosch spring part numbers before, they didn't have them, but got them the next day. 800-669-1593. www.scheiddiesel.com. I'm going to hold off on spending the $14 for one until I can get on a dyno and see where this trimmed to stock length 3800rpm spring - 374 defuels at. I'm guessing plenty. More than what I want to use I bet. Dyno this weekend I plan to run on, won't have my 60# valve springs installed by then, so if its still pulling to 3500-3600, I'll have to stop there.

Rockjeep you get one or call Scheid yet? I might stop in there tomorrow as I'm off.

Cody, I just re-read this and huh?? You must not have seen Brian Blocks dyno sheets?? His pump/engine pulls all the way to 4200rpm and beyond. I think on his last 627hp run he had 500hp all the way to 4k.

Yeah, I've actually looked at his dyno sheets and honestly forgot that he was turning that many RPM's. I just dont have what it takes to turn those type of numbers without some 60lb valve springs for reassurance.

I just called Scheid and they have never sold the spring before and their central distributor does not stock it, but he is going to make some phone calls to check the availability, so time will tell.
