3 silly questions about Torque ?
Please forgive my ignorence, but I am new to the cummins world !
I currently have my 1990 model 12v out , and am changing the trans adapter over, from the 727 to the 47RH

I was woundering what Torque do I bring the bolts to , that fasten the adapter to the back of the block ?

I was also changing the motor mount plates, since I'm installing the cummins into a ford chassis, and was woundering what torque to bring the bolts to, that fasten the plates to the block ?
# 3
I have replaced the valve cover gaskets...and couldnt find what to tighten them down to ?
Sorry to clog up the threads with these silly questions.
....So maybe someone can chime in and answer right away , so we can get on with the good stuff

The engine adapter plate to block is 30 ft lbs. Book calls it "transmission mounting to engine". I think that means adapter plate. Couldn't find any else that resembles adapter plate.
Engine mount plates to engine block is 44 ft lbs.
Valve cover bolts is 18 ft lbs.

This week I'd like to put motor in chassis....
The correct torque is 44 ft. lbs.
