2wd to 4wd with divorced transfercase
Who has used a divorce transfercase? how is it holding up? What kind of mileage are you getting? how is it for towing?
I have a 2wd cummins with a getrag 360. the trans has just been rebuilt and 29 spline 205's are hard to come by but I have found several divorced cases. I am not using the truck for a daily driver but I have in the past and I may in the future so I need the truck to still be reliable. I also pull a 16 ft car trailer and a 30 camper so I don't want to sacrifice to much in mileage and reliability.
Trying to make a decision keep saving for a good trans and transfercase or use a divorced case.

well when you add that you will also be adding a extra set of u joint's plus lenght to the system I would say hold out for a 29 spline or just have a auto t case modified or they also make the adapter from 29 to the auto spline get ahold of Mark Nixon he may have something that would work for you also .
