2nd Gen Clutch hydraulics in a 1st Gen

So I went with the spendy South Bend 2nd Gen clutch hydraulics setup, and the only issue I found was that the 1st gen reservoir mounts on an angle and the South Bend 2nd Gen one mounts straight, so I designed and 3D printed an adapter!

Man that's cool. New technology meets old

What are the advantages over the 2nd gen hydraulic set up vs 1st gen?

You can't get the good, braided steel line stuff for a 1st Gen that I know of, and I looked all over.

The only difference is the angle of the reservoir mounting angle. On a 1st Gen they mount to the firewall at an angle, 2nd gen they mount flat.

Does it affect anything for them to be on an angle? Or will it work just as well? Hoping to get the truck going this weekend. Would it work at an angle until I got the adapter?
