2800 Rpm
2800 Rpm
I pulled the GN this week for the first time since I turned up the pump and with the new torque converter was able to hit 2800 RPM at 60 MPH.There is no name on the tach and I don't know if it is accurate. What RPM do these trucks defuel at? As far as I know there is no 3200 govenor spring in it.
Yeah, the truck should be able to hit 2800 RPM with the stock governor spring. It won't pull hard to there, though. It will sorta lay down around 24-2500 RPM. The other possibility is that the tach isn't calibrated properly.
