I'm a 99 ram 1500 owner researching diesels. I've got a new western plow on my truck and have a bad feeling about having it on a half ton. For piece of mind I'm going to get a 3/4 or 1 ton diesel. I'm not farmilliar with the different 5.9's yet, but I'm learning. Is there somewhere I can find a history of these motors explaining the differences and improvements over the years? Are the parts interchangable? It's information like this that I think I should have before I make any purchases. Any help would be appreciated.<br>Chezick
