2- piece vs 1 piece driveshafts

Guys,

My D250 has a 1 piece drives shaft. On my GMC, the way I got rid of highway boom(loud) was to go to a 2-piece shaft.

I have a long wheel base-non extended cab SLT(?) D250. Can I find a 2 piece shaft to replace the 1 piece????

I had a '90 Dodge Cummins automatic 2WD 2 piece drive shaft that I had the front shortened and the rear section lengthened for the crew cab. That should indicate that they are out there. You will also need the crossmember, the flanged mount center support bearing, and the bearing mounting extension bracket if it came with one. Mine came with the heavy wall 4" tubing.
