1st tow
Well I know its not much considering the weight that some of you guys pull but it was the 1st real pull for me with this truck,I pulled my daughters horse up to Chesapeake Va on Sat. 2 horse trailer and approx. 500 lbs or so in the bed.I would guess only about 3300-3500 lbs (like I said not much) but Im all about the small victory's its about 320 mi both ways I went up in the morning and drove back that evening, averaged between 65-70 mph the whole way and got between 15 and 16 mpg.I didnt think that was too bad, even though when I topped off to come back it cost me $94 for 23 gallons of fuel.Thats robbery!!!

that's pretty good...my first big tow of the year will be once this new snow clears in 2 weeks.I'm scared due to the fuel needle moves very fast now-unloaded.
and the fuel costs are robbery,@ 23 gallons I'd be paying $104.06cdn.

Well if the people in govt would grow some stones we wouldnt have this prob. But they're afraid if they do something about it they'll loose their kickbacks. They can make all the excuses in the world ,there is absolutley NO reason why fuel is this expensive.
