1st gens

I am seeing more and more 1st gens in my area. They seem to be well taken care of machines. Good looking too. I guess everyone wants a diesel now that diesel is almost 3.00 a gallon

Huh, I only see one other truck regularly in my travels around Delco. Where are they hiding? I see lots of them in Chester County, though - and most of 'em have a load behind 'em.

Very few in my neck of the woods. I can count all the ones I've seen since I started noticing them after I got mine last summer on one hand.

About an even split in 2nd and 3rd gen Cummins around this area. An easy15 or 20 to 1 over the 1st gen diesels.

We've got 8 or 10 around here, including mine and brother's. I get asked all the time if i want to sell mine, but after it pulled the kind of load (overloaded)it pulled from Arizona to Texas without breaking a sweat....it will live happily here on my ranch.

they grow on trees in the PNW, so be sure to check out Portland, and Seattle Craigslist when you are looking... rust free, tho a bit musty

I probably see about 10 1st gens per day here on average. Most are like mine, that is a 3/4 ton 2wd, but there are a lot of 2wd duallys here too. Not many 4wd trucks. Maybe 1 a day.

Now, 2nd gens, too many to count. 3rd gens, sometimes I will be setting at a redlight with 3 of them. They are everywhere.

I live a little west of you guys in the buggy county and have a 1st gen w350 up the street, and 3 first gens down the street at a mulch farm, and a stacked 2nd gen 2 roads over. I guess I live on a cummins lover road.
