1st Gen Truck caught fire and died
1993 D250 Single cab. Bone stock. 22X,XXX
The wires down by the fuel filter rubbed the insulation off the wires and caught on fire and killed the truck. I think the fuel shut off shorted to ground which is what killed it and started getting hot. What do I check? Now it only has power to the headlights and blower fan. Before all of this happened the truck started normal and died, started again and drove it about 1/4 mile and it started smoking under the hood and we got out and put the fire out. but could it have fried the PCM?

We don't allow multiple posts about the same thing in multiple forum boards. With that, I moved your thread about the same thing from the emergency help board.
