Talking 1st Gen spotting

Is it just me or can you guy`s spot a 1st gen in a parking lot from a mile away? I went to the hospital last evening for my overnight stay with my son (he came home today thank goodness and is doing MUCH better), pull into the lot and the first thing I spot are the gracefull dynamically powerfull lines of the a 1st gen cab. Needless to say guess where I parked? . Turned out to be a 91.5 & up std cab CTD 4x4. Nice looking ride, had some 97&up chrome steel rims, truck was Maroon/Grey 2 tone. My sons room was on the 11th floor and I have a good view of the lot from his window. I happened to see the guy leaving but being stuck on the 11th floor i was`nt able to talk to him, but i did catch him giving my ride the once over, gotta love the "CTD Community" . FWIW this was at Stonybrook University hospital on Long Island (if the owner of the truck is on this board).

Ya im always spotting them all the time. Usually just stare as they drive by cuz im busy. Just recently I saw an old collegue of mine who use to drive a old 7.3L Ford with stacks and now hes driving a 92 4X4 cummins . I guess my cummins must have turned him . Im hoping to be able to catch him somewhere and push him down the slippery slope. Mostly so I can hang out with another first genner and have another truck to work on

I have gotten pretty darnd good at spotting them.

Was not to long after I got mine, me and my Brother in law was a a sit down restaruant, when some fella pulled up in a dodge that looked almost identicle to what I wanted My truck to look like. I had a very long talk with him and we looked his truck over and we talked about some things that might need done to it.
Now, I am almost building an wxact replica of what he had. Except, mine looks a little better.

I see them all over the place now that I have one. I also see a lot of PowerJokes and Duracraps. Today there was a Ram 2500 next to me and when he started I could tell it was a CTD but it didn't have the Cummins badges.

What gives???
