1st gen pics anyone?
I will be if I get 40K out of them. Traction is good in everything I've been in. Havn't had them on snow and ice yet we'll see how they do.
I think I'm going with somthing from these guys next time. The prices are a lot better and their tires are supposed to be awsome.http://www.treadwright.com/

Re-treads are nice, but your not allowed to run them on the front of a school bus. That being said, a bunch of tires you buy from pepboys are re-treads. check the tread pattern for seams ;-)
I think they'll be fine. Read this http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f15/t...-poll-1079518/

I just did the opposite. rusty box off, flatbed on. I also swapped cabs and dropped the truck to a 2" lift from the 6" lift.

Thanks Brandon, its been a lot of work but i like the way it turned out so far. The cab was off of an 88 d150 with a locked up 318, but the body was in great shape. The flatbed is pieced together with stuff from here and there.
I'm using the 6" springs in the back right now with no blocks, and I traded the front springs for the flatbed.
What are you doing with the old 6 inch lift?
the OEM bumpers are shockingly flimsy for a four ton truck aren't they? I ordered a set of Reunel bumpers for my rig and the first dummy who comes into contact with one of them will sustain all of the damage. I'll post pics once they're delivered (December)
