Yeah, they are cragar. There were more cragars on the road then than any other brand.

Does it still count as a first gen? It's got my motor out of my 91 in it, rebuilt and resealed, with a rebuilt IP and new injectors. (see sig for full mods)

Project is just about done. I had to take the tappet cover off and I threw on a billet one from CPP. Next time I beuild a motor I will never put the stock tappet cover. It's not worth the hassle. For the money I have a cover that will never leak and has 2 vents. I just have to retorque my head studs and put my IP back on, and give one last check on the valve lash and I'm set.

Mods for the future are chromoly pushrods and a fluidampr, as I couldn't afford them when I was building the motor.

Rick, not bad for a ford. The truck looks good and that C really stands out good. I like how the vanity cover looks, how did you go about the 2-tone?

the 2 tone on the vanity cover for the valve covers?

I gave it a few nice coats of black gloss paint and then carefully hit the surface of the letters with the wire wheel on the 4.5" grinder. Came out nice I think. I like it. It's just the aluminum.

Kind of funny that it says dodge, when cummins isn't a dodge product, and it's in a ford anyway.

The bare aluminum of the lettering doesn't look exactly like it does in the picture, but it still looks good in my opinion. It almost has like a grainy look to it from the wire wheel, which I like.

It's the old 91.5 I've had for a few years now. The trans went on it last feb, and the truck was pretty rusted so I yanked the motor. It needed a reseal real bad so I just rebuilt it. With just under 300k miles on the clock it looked real good inside. Just got new rings and bearings for peace of mind.

As for the ford, I bought it out in calgary last march as a ppumped ferd. Had to pull that motor though as the HG went on it, found cracks in the head and so that was junk. Rather than rebuilding that motor and finding a new head I just used the ole trusty VE out of my dodge.
