Re:1993 Dodge Questions

Thanks for the FAQ - I looked and read...
Guess it makes for a weekend project!
Now by leaving this unfixed I assume that is when you get water leaking into the drivers side area by the e-brake pedal?
I am gonna have to look at my truck when I get home. First I have heard of this problem - Appreciate all the info guys!

If it worked...I have attached a pic. of my 88 1/2 ton LE package, 2" lift 318 (yes...I know not a diesel ) But I am working on it. If all goes well I should hopefully be driving it home in a couple weeks!

Re:1993 Dodge Questions

Just to let you know I had that cowl crack on passenger side and realized it was a lot of labour to fix. I decided on a temporary repair to cut the noise that drove me crazy. Open passenger door wide . Look at closely with small mirror on telescoping handle to see where it is worst. Wipe clean and then apply silicone seal all over cowel corner and let dry. Temporary repair was in 1996 and has been good enough I never touched it since. Silicone is waterproof and it seemed to stop the edges of the crack from grinding against each other and causing racket.

Do these "cowl cracks" cause water leaks in the cab?
