Did I miss something in this thread? Do you wrap the exhaust for noise or something else?

On stationary/marine engines its common (required) to wrap exhaust for fire protection and keeping engine rooms cooler. I have no desire for that kind of itchy/messy crap on my truck.

Keeping the heat in may spool the turbo a tiny bit quicker, and reduce under-hood temps a little bit.
