1990 dodge w250 injection pump leak

I have a 1990 dodge cummins w250 and my injection pump started to leak real bad the other day how hard is it to take it apart myself and try to fix it ?

Go to the "Sticky" at the top of the forum, then scroll down to you see all the VE pump rebuild threads.....and start reading, and re-reading.

Difficulty depends on your mechanical aptitude. I re-sealed mine....messed it up the first time which required another pump, then got it perfect the second time. Hard..not really, intimidating...you bet!!

Can you tell exactly where it is leaking from? If it is on the backside, near the block, you will have to remove the pump to get access to it. Some leaks can be fixed without pump removal. Like said above, check the sticky. I used some pages I printed out to re do mine a couple of years ago. It wasn't too bad.
