I think you'll like it in Green Country. Especially the smell of cow poop and oil wells. Be sure to buy a good coat for the winter and new wipers for the truck. When I lived there I had to get a new set every year. Ice storms are lots of fun too. I'll stop by next time I'm in the area. If you live in a mobile home a spider hole is a necessity. PM me your whereabouts when you get settled.

How far outside of Tulsa will you be?
The transmission was a bit noisy. and the A/C cycle switch acted up just this side of the Oklahoma state line. Other than that some grades were slow to keep the EGT down. The old house needs a lot of work as the former owner is semi disabled and maintenance was a problem. So I will be polishing my carpentry skills for some time
the trip went pretty good for 1800 miles in 4 days with the wife and two small dogs

Although it needs work it is worth escaping the Kommunist Republic of Kalifornia.
Glad you made the trip OK. Just a couple of reminders. Use a saw to cut the wood, Not a torch. Use nails and screws to join the wood, not an arc welder.
That's what my wife keeps telling me anyway.
