1989 LE350 round headlight

was there a year model that used round headlight bezels that i could use on my 1989 le 350?
Thought it might look a little more "classic"

As far as I know 81-93 trucks all used rectangular headlights. 72-80 used round headlights. You would have to change the grille out and relocate the headlights downwards.

why couldn't you rob a bezel and headlights from an older one and see if it will fit in? I think they are more square holes than our more rectangle ones... at least from a glance it seems that way...

There is a thread around here somewhere with pictures of several trucks with the early grille conversion.

I think, if you were clever, you could swap in some round lights and make for a unique look. When I was building my rc, I played around with some grilles I had in the shop and snapped a few pics. Here they are.

This is a 89 core support with the 89 grille but no bezels.

This is the 89 core with the grill from a 75, but rectangular headlights. Kind of the opposite of what you are talking about, but ut shows that the buckets are in the right place if you have a 89-90.

This one is the 89 core with the 91-93 grille. You can see the headlight location you run into if you try to change from 91-93 to older, or visa-versa.

My truck has seperate bezels so i may not have to swap the whole grille assy. Now dodge vans have seperate bezels.Looks like a trip to the bone yard.

If I had an 89-90 I would convert over to the 72-80 round headlight/grille setup as it does look nice with a classic touch. Really stands out when driving down the road.

I wish I had an extra se of bezels to cut out rectangular for a test fit. Would definately look unique.
