The harness in my 89 will not plug straight into that. You will probably have to go to a junkyard and get the plug that plugs into the radio then get an adapter for the 93 then splice the adapter to the back of the radio harness you get from a junkyard or u pull it. Thats how i think its gona have to get hooked up electrically. As far as fitting in the dash im not sure. Hope this helps.

You may want to look at a wiring diagram also. You may need class 2 to turn on that radio. I'm not sure, but I know on the newer gm radio's they work off of class 2 and the newest one's work off of the LAN. In either case it will be useless if that's the case.
Good luck

No the wiring harness changed in 02.5 on all chryslers. You can go on ebay and get the truck side harness for less than $20 for the later models.

I have a radio out of a 05 neon in my truck. I got the adapter harness from the local dodge dealer for $15. I don't know about the radio that you have but the one I put in req me to trim the radio opening in the cluster surround. The new radio has a radius on the sides. Take your time trimming it up and it should come out fine.

Push the volume in to turn on/off.
There is not a pot in the volume control like the older radios, the radio looks to see which way the **** is turned using a digital circuit then it turns up/down the volume.

Actually, I know many of you are die hard dodge fans, but the 2002 and older radios suck. The CD players are real picky about cds, and the tape players like to eat tapes. I bought an aftermarket for my truck. All said and done it was like $160 for a pretty good radio. It will read CDs as well as MP3 CDs (fit hundreds of songs on one ) It will read anything i put in it, and if you want to upgrade your system, you can plug it into an amp, or run subs. I have an amp on my 2 6X9s, and plan to get subs in the future. I know it is a little more pricey, but worth it in the long run. Oh, and the 2005 radio prolly won't fit right. I know a 2002 or older will though.
