I just got my truck back for getting o-ringed, studded, 4k gsk, timing at *22, and valve springs. Ever since then it dies at idle in gear, especially with the a/c on. Could this be because the timing is too high? Any help would be great. It's embarising having to start my truck at every stop light!

 

Did they by chance play with the idle at all after installing the 4kgsk? Sounds almost to me if the idle is too low and especially when the a/c kicks on and loads the engine that little bit its not enough to keep the engine running.

That would be my first thought but it does seem i tend to over look the obvious.

 

It idles exactly where it did before, at about 900 in neutral. It just seems to have a weak idle.
