Smile Woah!!!!! Kdp Almost Got Me!!!!!!!

I just had the front cover pulled to secure the KDP and WOW!. It was almost out!
334,000 miles and the luck ALMOST ran out!
I recently purchased the truck with 332K and it was all oily up front. I figured the KDP already did the dance.
Turned out the cover was loose. ALL the bolts were loose.
So we are securing the KDP, and doing the sidecover gaskets and stuff with the $$ saved.
I think I'll put a little extra in the offering plate this week........
Boy am I happy!

Yeah, I purchased mine not too long ago and it had come out some...looked like it was ready to drop. Tabbed now.

I wonder how many covers are removed to find an improved pin holding case there because the KDP cracked the original case.

Had mine tabbed a year ago while buying a new seal for my front cover, it was halfway out I used the money saved to buy new valve cover seals, a banjo bolt, and "hack" the overflow sensor on the P-pump. I'm glad to hear you caught it in time!

i didn't catch mine and it fell out and it cost me a lot of money and i did all the work myself the cover was like 400 dollars and when i did it the injection pump was off so i went ahead and put some 4000 rpm gov springs in it and a #0 fuel plate but i still wasn't happy with the giant hole that was in my old front cover
