i just bought my truck wrecked and im in the process or rebuilding it, the steering box is leaking because the stabilizer bar went back and hit the pitman arm and messed up the lower seal, i have put new seals in my brothers steering box before, 97 2500 4x4, but i was wandering if a 3rd gen box would work cause my last truck had awsome steering (no play) and i was kinda looking for that, thanks

 

You might do a search on that , I know I have read about someone had a kit for 3rd gen box on a second gen truck and how awesome it was.
