Why is my engine knocking?

Why is my engine knocking?
When I start the truck in the morning and its about 60 or colder outside the engine knocks quite loud for the first few minutes. After it warms up a little it goes away. What is it?

you sure its knocking and not just running a little rough untill the engine gets some heat to it?

You most likely have a bad injector.

I would like to have new injectors. I am leaning to some DDP 75's. What do you think?

Could be the lift pump too. Ive had them sound like crap when they get old.
