What tcase do i have

Hello all i have a 1997 2500 cummins with an automatic, rclb. The tag is ripped off of my tcase and am having lots of trouble getting into 4by. I know most will say a rebuild but i have a feeling i might be able to get a new one cheaper. If someone could tell me what tcase i have it would greatly appreciated.

Either NP241DLD or NP241DHD Light duty vs Heavy duty.

Look under your hood for the tag.

Go to Dealers Parts Dept, with Vin #, and request a 'Build Sheet'. Will list all components as it came from Factory. Nice to have if you did not buy new.
