one of my bolts came off that hold the downpipe to the turbo does anyone know what thread size they are

 

wow this is the first time i've ever had a question you guys didn't answer. i guess i could take the other bolt out to find the size, but i figured someone on here knew the size

 

Call me lazy or whatever but when it comes to bolts that might be metric I use the pull the old one out and compare method and buy a new one without ever finding out what size it is.

 

i think thats what i'm going to have to do its just a pita to pull the pipe off and then find a ride to the hardware store

 

Just replaced mine today after local shop forgot to install both bolts after clutch change. It's a 3/8 course thread (3/8-16). I did not measure the length I want to say it's about 2~2 1/2 inches long. I just grabbed one out of a tackle box full of nuts, bolts and various hardware that I keep at the house. I was lucky and it was the first one I dug out. When I get home in the morning I can measure the length of it for ya if you'd like. I have a cavity full of them.

Well I measured it before I made it in the house and then was a pretty tired puppy so went straight to bed this morning so just in case someone has this question in the future and does a search the length I used which just barely poked through the other side on the EB was a 2 inch (3/8-16 x 2).
