I have a weak injector so im going to be replacing them, and Im looking at 300 edm's. I have a 10 plate and im not really looking for to much more power, just an affordable replacement that some day, if inclined has the potiental for more power. So my question is if i install 300 edm's and slide the plate back to stock, will i still be pushing alot of fuel? Dont wanna destroy a transmission or deal with out of control egts. Thoughts and suggestions are appreciated.

My stock TC lasted about 3 months after installing 215's with a 10 plate. I'd say those 300 edm's are going to be too much.

 

Where did you buy your 215's at? I dont want to pay more then $365

 

Call your local farm tractor dealer for Case-IH and ask where they have their injectors rebuilt. You should be able to obtain what you want from an experienced rebuilder for a very affordable price. They can bin pick good used tips and necessary new parts and set you up with a set of 250 horse units that will last for years for about a quarter what you are budgeting if you do the removal and install yourself.

 

How do the 215's spray? Does it spray right for our truck engines, like i know 370's dont spray the exactly right. Did you see an increase in mpg at all? Havent looked at the 215's much,so any info is welcome.
